Working on a logo and trying to find the perfect font.  Times New Roman, Comic Sans, and Arial are all out.  maybe there’s something on the internet.   I hear you can find all sorts of goodies on there.

For me, the only real funny part of the whole movie is the interaction on a certain ranch in Crawford Texas.  Everything else was a simple rehash of the first movie.  There are some funny parts here and there, but mostly just vulgar, crude humor that makes people laugh because of how ridiculous it sounds.  But overall, the movie was one stupid setting, scenario, situation that had to be escaped, after another.

Everytime that Deputy of Whatever guy came on I cringed.  The Kumar love storyline was crammed into the empty spots.  Best parts for me are in Crawford and Amsterdam in the Costume/Adult Shop.

Won’t spoil it for you, but it’s not worth seeing in the movies.  Wait till it’s in Blockbuster’s 9 for $15 bin.

All that being said, check out the Dubya Prank call page of the Movie’s site.  You can set up a call based on info you put about a friend and send it to them either my email or phone.  pretty funny, plus pretty cool tech and design.  (Link: http://haroldandkumar.varitalk.com/)

Going through the news today and Lo and Behold, what do I find?

an article describing Lego’s newest idea, an online MMOG also known as a Massively Multiplayer Online Game.  (read here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080501/wr_nm/column_pluggedin_dc_1)

Crazy.  Don’t get me wrong, I love my Lego’s as they are the one of the only things that didn’t make it into my MPCCFS also known as Massive Pile of Craigslist Crap For Sale.  But still, an online environment for Lego’s.  If could fly around in a Cosmic Fleet Voyager, one of my favorites models growing up.  then I would be ok.  but walking around talking to other people with no knees and a detachable heads.  Jury’s still out.

Finally convinced my good friend David to go live with his site.

Yeeesh

I recently discovered a podcast on iTunes by a guy named Marcus Buckingham. Actually, I’m not gonna lie-I was searching for Oprah and came across him as they did a podcast show together. It has completely changed how I view my work, goals, and my abilities.

He teaches you in a very well-spoken and easy to follow manner, that many ideas you believe about work and your strengths and weaknesses are wrong. Absolutely wrong.

There are several places available to find out more.

TROMBONE PLAYER WANTED

I’ve included a clip below I found on Youtube. For anyone who’s struggling finding the joy and passion in their work or home and who needs a fresh perspective on finding it again, it’s worth the time to look.

Just finished listening to Madonna’s new album, Hard Candy. I was just about to bust out with how sweet the album is, and not in the annoying obvious play on words, but more that L.A. urban hipster kinda “sweet.” Luckily I caught myself.

Favorites off the top are Miles Away, The Beat Goes On, Dance 2night, and Candy Shop. But I guess those would be obvious since they are the main uptempo beats. This list is always subject to change as we all know that sometimes a song needs to be played over and over and over again and it can grow on you.

(Jewel’s “Who Will Save Your Soul” is a perfect example of this)

The “4 Minutes” video was cool and all but it left a little to be desired, not the the big M was ever a big Pop Locker, but still.

So I recently moved and have a ton of stuff that either doesn’t fit in my new place or doesn’t fit in my life because I’ve had it for the last 20 years and it wouldn’t fit in any normal person’s life.

hopefully there are people who won’t realize that. I just need to go and find those people…so I’m headed to Craigslist. I tried to give some of my stuff to my landlord but apparently my lease says that rent needs to be paid with a check or money order. Dang…I’ll bet the smell could totally be washed out of those stuffed animals.

What the heck?

I think that will be my opening line in my ad.

Let’s see what happens.

So my good friend found some work doing audience work. It’s kinda crazy. You stand in line for an hour with a ton of other people. You get into an auditorium that isn’t air-conditioned. They pack 6 people for every 4 chairs. Every once in a while you need to cheer your head off and pretend the person you wanted win just won. then you stand in another line forever to get your money. Then you go home. All of this happens over the course of 13 hours.

It’s crazy trying new things out.
